I haven't posted in a looong time.Scrowlie is done (for now at least) and the third TPB " Apocalypse Scrowl " just came out .That collects issues 10-15 . Anyway I am starting a new project. A short TPB ( 60 pages or so )featuring Chi-cat ,a cat golem, and a tiny dog.

the other day the cat we call stoner dude was sitting on the steps to the porch with a bandanna tied around his neck.Not in a bad way but in a jaunty little man way.It was both the cutest and saddest thing i've ever
seen.after much debate I decided it would be cruel and unusual to have an outdoor cat running around with something around his neck he could choke or whatnot.after I took it off he rolled around on the ground all happy like.I suspect he might have even been waiting for me in the hopes i'd take it off.

So it looks like I might be going to comic-con.we reserved a room in a hotel in San Diego.I'm still not sure though I think comic-con might be getting a little big for it's own good.
I got a new job making buttons check it out http://www.oneinchround.com A cool place for buttons and I will make them for you with love.

Tommorow I am going to have a vacation in sonoma.we are going to stay at a resort spa thanks to a gift certificate from my parents.there will be a jacuzzi in the room .yes!

there is a new orange cat hanging around outside my house.He is all squinty like a stoner dude.I am trying not to feed him but i can't resist petting him sometimes.nikita the grey cat has a wound on her side.I am a little worried that she was beat up.sigh

I bought plane tickets to New York.We'll be there for MOCCA.We are taking Jetblue so I will watch TV the whole way there and back.
Scrowlie 13 is almost completed.I'm a little sad that I'm almost done with the whole scrowlie series.gulp.
I have a secret crush on Paris Hilton.I love the way she has a tiny dog.we saw House of Wax.people were really excited to see her die.

All submissions must be turned into the Roseville location be the end of the day on Friday, May 6th. The judging will be at 2PM on Saturday, May 7th.

Pet Noir will be hosting an art exhibit and music fundraiser to benefit Pet Noir: An Anthology of Strange But True Bay Area Pet Crimes and In Defense of Animals (IDA).

About Pet Noir, the Comic

Pet Noir is a collaborative graphic novella featuring strange but true SF bay area pet crimes, to be released in the summer of 2005. These stories, written by Shannon O’Leary and illustrated by various artists, intend to shed light on some of the odder crimes committed in recent times, as well as question our relationship with animals in society. Guest artists include August Bournique, Paul Musso, MariNaomi, Ric Carrasquillo, Jen Feinberg, N8 Van Dyke, Peter Conrad, Attaboy, Bitter Pie and more. A portion of the proceeds from this comic will be donated to IDA.

About IDA

In Defense of Animals is an international animal protection organization dedicated to ending the exploitation and abuse of animals by raising the status of animals beyond that of mere property, and by defending their rights, welfare and habitat. IDA’s efforts include educational events, cruelty investigations, boycotts, grassroots activism, and hands-on rescue through their sanctuaries in Mississippi and Cameroon, Africa.
